Leonard Morneau is a PGY-2 radiology resident with a passion for exercise and nutrition. He believes that exercise and proper nutrition are paramount, especially today when much of the morbidity and mortality afflicting this country is preventable. He chose Radiology late in his fourth year after going on all interviews for PM&R. It was only in January during his first rotation of radiology he knew it was the right field for him. In a last minute change of heart, he didn’t rank the top university PM&R programs he had interviewed at and instead went all in with Radiology at St. Barnabas. Lucky for him, he matched!
He grew up just outside of Hartford, Connecticut and went on to attend college at Gettysburg College. It was here that his passion for fitness and nutrition developed and thrived. He continued on with medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada. He has maintained his exercise regimen lifting 4-6 days per week since he started college and has been doing so for the past 10 years. He recently competed in his first Men’s Physique competition and plans to compete again.
He is an avid reader and believes in being both physically and mentally strong. He is a motivated and disciplined individual and believes that discipline is a key factor in the successes he has had. He has an entrepreneurial spirit and desires to help everyone live healthier, happier, more productive lives by establishing healthier habits.
